| Abstract | This is to study how a construction project manage in concerning three triple area such as schedule, cost and quality during the entire construction period in real practice. No.(7) Ahlone Basic Education High School Project where located in Ahlone township to becoming the modern Basic Education High School when it was finished. This project is one of the projects Sustainable Development Project to facilitate the increasing demand on students increasing year by year in education sector. In 2013, the donations for this Basic Education High School had been received from Myanmar Economic Corporation (MEC) Eden Company, and Nyaung Tone Company. The MEC had also been working in partnership with No (954) Garrison Engineer(GE) Construction Department. Thus, they had permission to construct a school project via GE. The author will study the practice of project monitoring and controlling regarding schedule, cost and quality by GE who is responsible to complete the project as per plan. Analysis and evaluation on the case project has been discussed in detail in the report and weakness on contractor’s management regarding with time, cost and quality has been presented. Delay and cost over run are faced on the project. Main factor contribute in schedule delay are design change in foundation, weather affect. Cost over run would face due to design change, labor shortage and poor workmanship ect. According to the case analysis, a framework for project monitor and control of a construction project has been developed. |
