| Abstract | During the last decade, urban areas have expanded rapidly. Urban sustainable development has been receiving special attention and current development trend. Therefore, the design efficiency process should be researched and developed in urban development project, especially in international projects. This report will concentrate on analyzing of design management process, design strategies and key the elements that make up an effective design. The analysis will include content about how to develop design planning, how to implement design states and how to control it. In addition, the report will point out pros and cons in the management and discuss on solutions. An appropriate framework so as to apply to future project need to be developed. The case study is using the real data from zone planning project in Champasak province, Laos. |
