Abstract | Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology is an alternative technology to construction work and those involved in the construction industry. BIM has been used to help design in 3D of Architecture work, Structural Work, MEP work, and others. It is expected that in the near future, BIM will be used more and more attention in construction than old software. As a result, in changes in the method of professional practice can be causing those who use BIM to have to adapt in both aspects of knowledge and skills development to work effectively for preparing in the future technology. Nowadays, there are new technology is HoloLens. It is a glasses device developed in collaboration with NASA and Microsoft. It can display holographic images or 3D images of objects in the digital world or simulated objects. This holographic technology is currently being used in many fields. This electronic device can apply to construction industries in terms of visualization of the construction model or inspection in the construction site. This device may help the engineer to visualization the position of the object and make them more understanding of their work better than seeing the model in PC or laptop. Therefore, this research is the beginning to use this technology to develop an application for using with construction model that create by BIM. In order to HoloLens technology, users can access to visualize the construction mode by using HoloLens walk through the construction site that useful for them that they can see the further of their work with same dimension and position |
