AbstractTeam is needed in many organizations in order to complete their projects successfully. Team has been taking a big role in construction industry. Team members are working together to achieve their team goals. However, a lot of projects facing with problems related with interaction, communication and conflicts among team members. Individuals facing misunderstanding, unclear work tasks, etc. Intelligence of individual in team is important and help the team to promote effective knowledge creation and develop the way of thinking. This research is mainly focus on the development of the constructs of team intelligence assessment in order to find out the individual ability needed to work in a team. Another focus is to analysis the mediation effect of team competency on the relationship between team intelligence and team performance. Research data has been collected individual who are working in Myanmar construction’s industry. Quantitative research methods are applied in this study and used factor analysis and PROCESS by Hayes to fulfill the research objectives. The results showed that there are six constructs obtained from team intelligence and team competency acted as a mediator. Since the main purpose of this research is to develop the team intelligence assessment tool, the outcome will help construction team to know their individual team ability and to improve their team performance.
