AbstractThis thesis mainly focused on the transformational and transactional leadership styles on small and medium construction companies’ development in Yangon, Myanmar. On the other hand, to investigate leadership styles on difference between head office personnel and project personnel. Data collection was conducted from face to face individual respondents currently running in construction company business such as CEOs, company directors and BOD. This research indicates that there is a relationship between leadership styles and small and medium construction companies’ development between head office personnel and project personnel. According to the result, construction industry is likely to use transformational leadership style in head office personnel and transactional leadership style in project personnel.
