Series Statement
AbstractProperty value evaluation was studied in the two districts: Da'an District and Neihu District in Taipei, Taiwan. Studies included the trading data of condominiums in the research area and were conducted during September, 2009 to October, 2011. The diagnostic tools used in this work were the multiple regression method and the hedonic model. It is clearly shown that in certain area the public transportation may play an important role of property value. Findings were compared between two types of districts. One represents the CBD preference for purchasing the property and the other is for the new developed area with the technology park. The comparison found different preferences and reliability to different public transportation systems. Hence, the influence level to the property value from each transportation system would be various such as mass rapid transit system (MRT) and bus system.
