Role-based Trust management (RT), a recently proposed framework is claimed to have combined strengths of previous TM systems. The RT framework is a family of Role-based Trust management languages for representing policies and credentials in distributed authorization. In this thesis, we study the concept and basic principles of TM, summarize existing Trust management systems and examine languages of the RT framework. We also analysis and propose the membership standards of Better Business Bureau (BBB) of HCMC, Vietnam, as a case study of Trust management system.
