| Abstract | The telecommunication service is one of the most important infrastructure factors in the economic and social development of the country. There are many kinds of services, which the Telephone Organization of Thailand has been providing to the people in the Kingdom of Thailand. The service that the Telephone Organization of Thailand by the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MOTC) expect to serve to the Thai people is the Integrated Service Digital Network (ISDN). The national master plan for the ISDN services has been approved since 1989. The state enterprise Performance Evaluation System is one of the Government performance measurement tools to indicate quantity, quality, operating efficiency and financial efficiency of the state enterprise. The TOT is one of the state enterprises, which join with the government performance measurement program. The TOT performance measurement for the Ministry of Finance is rather successful for many years. Then the TOT decides to do this performance measurement for every Department/Office of the TOT. This research study considers the performance measurement of the ISDN Service Development Department (ISDD), measuring only Narrow band- ISDN (N- ISDN) service. The N-ISDN service performance measure of fiscal year 2000 will be evaluated. In this research study, there is also a questionnaire asking for customer satisfaction of the N-ISDN subscriber. Some analysis and recommendation to improve performance for the N-ISDN service of the ISDD are stated in this research study. |
