Abstract | Nowadays the road traffic is quite intense especially in large cities. Motorcycles and cars "live" together in the roads. But is the first one the most fragile vehicle that can cause more serious problems in case of accident to the driver. Even with this reality the motorcycle driver continuous many times doing dangerous trajectories near the cars often putting their lives at risk. This thesis comes in this way to detect the motorcycles by a simple but complex well known motorcycle characteristic, their sound. To archive this object some mathematical algorithm will be applied, more specifically the Hidden Markov Models and Fast Fourier Transform. |
