AbstractAs an important tool or measure, financial information disclosure (FID) of listed companies is always one of the requirements on every stock market. Many reasons prove that FID is the only way that listed companies should follow and an inevitable selection of stock market and its stakeho Iders. China's stock market is relatively young but has made a recognized achievement in recent years. Meanwhile, conceming FID of listed companies, China has met many problems, which have been already thought as serious ones and called all stakeholders' more attentions. This research study attempts to conduct an analysis to justify the need of FID of listed companies on China's stock market, analyse the problems existed in the FID of listed companies on China's stock market, and try to offer some optional solutions.
