AbstractThe current road system, paths, bicycle riders’ rules and regulations are not that encouraging in terms of ensuring the safety standards of bicycle riders. Thus, this research focuses on improving the safety standards of bicycle riders in AIT. The data collection has been done in two ways such RSA and survey; meanwhile survey has been done in two ways, direct and online. Based on the collected data important issues, most accident prone junction paths and places are identified. Finally solutions are derived and implementation strategies are proposed to improve the safety standards of the bicycle riders in AIT.
