| Abstract | The information available in past internship reports are useful to new undergraduates, who find companies or organizations for internships, according to their interests and preferred skills. This idea caused an increasing interest on developing an information retrieval system for the undergraduates in AIT to obtain information about the companies that past students worked for. The overall objective of this project is to implement a Web-based search engine to find relevant information about companies or organizations that offer internships for students. The search engine accepts search queries that describe students’ intentions, such as preferred areas of working, locations or fields of study. So this project focuses on designing, implementing, and deploying Web-based information retrieval system to obtain information about companies and organizations that past AIT undergraduates worked for during internship periods. |
