AbstractThis capstone report is about the indoor localization integrated with Bluetooth 4.0 technology and raspberry pi model B. The target of this system is design for household usage. The size of equipment is portable and easy to carry with. The price of the whole system is affordable and reasonable based on the function and quality. The goal can be achieved by studying indoor localization and wireless technology. With the wireless communication and the locating algorithm data, the experiment can be contributed with expected performance and the predictable result. The fixed station is raspberry pi model B hooked up with Wi- Fi dongle, Bluetooh 4.0 dongle and SD card. The tags are CC2540 and CC2541 devices of Texas Instrument Inc. Fixed station work as the RSSI reader to figure out where is the possible location of missing object. The objects that expect to be lost will attack with the tag. Moreover, the electronics device such as smartphone, notebook or tablet that can access to the internet will able to monitor and command both fixed station and tag or named as mobile station. The improvement and efficient of this system can be design from the experiment results.
