AbstractPrecast concrete has developed long time ago, but the connection between column and beam is still a big problem. How to make it simple and strength to resist the earthquake load is a question until now. There were so many researches about beam and column connection before, but they are very complicated or very difficult to construct at construction site, so it requires high quality of workers at construction site, such as welding, using bolt, cast in place the connection zone (wet connection). All of these ways are complicated, take time. In this research, I has come with new kind of connection, T-C connectors, it just side slide in at the construction site so it can help us save time and important thing is not need use high quality of workers because it is simple. Using T-C connector shape, it made from steel, C shape was welded to main reinforcements in beams and T was imbedded in column. I made the shear key at the center of beam end, the interface of beam and column. This shear key seated between T-C connectors and made from strong concrete. Two specimens full scale beam to column connections were tested under quasi-static load on the top of the column that simulated lateral motion. One was controlled specimen, it was casted in place, following the steps the same as reality. It means, pouring concrete for bottom of column part, and then pouring the beam part, the final step was pouring concrete for top part of column. Another specimen was precast concrete, column and beams were casted in different parts, and assembled them later on.
