Abstract | Humans use their hand to do most of the physical work in their day to day life. Most of the tasks are pick and place tasks. Sometimes people have to do things which are placed at out of the reach places or hazardous places for humans to travel. To do these kind of tasks accurately and precisely robot arms that work similar to human arms have been designed. Most of this robots are controlled by humans using a remote controllers which mimic robots movements. In this project, a robotic arm with four degrees of freedom and a wheeled base so that the robot can move around has been designed and whole robot is wirelessly controlled using a remote designed to mimic the robots movements. Additionally by using a web camera the operator can view what is happening on robots point of view. |
