Abstract | This project entails re-tasking of old used table fans into working wind turbines at a minimal cost. The procedures required for conversion, the costs incurred and the possible improvements are discussed, along with detailed characterization of both the generator and the turbine blades. This project hopes to breathe new life into tons of e-waste in terms of discarded induction motors. |
