AbstractProfessional construction requires innovative and efficient method statements at the construction stage. For effective making of construction method statements will require the needy of identifying factors and sub factors that will effect at the planning stage. Through site experience and knowledge gained the factors are identified. The technology has improved therefore new work methods are introduced to the industry therefore knowing them at the correct time is important. Many contractors prefer following the traditional methods of underground construction and do not prioritize to invent methods. In order to make efficient and innovative construction method statements processes are identified in this report, the methods are listed out and classified according to their scope of work. The site parameters differ accordingly with the site that is selected for construction and in order to show how the identified factors are identified a case analysis is done. For further improvement of this thesis a survey shall be done in order to identify the critical parameters that effect construction method statements.
