AbstractThe construction of high-rise and high quality buildings is rapidly increased to serve the growing of population in urban areas. Earthquake is the major problems that many countries are currently facing with because of this can caused the highest economic costs and many lives losses. So, the design of strong structure buildings is concerned as a crucial to withstand for seismic loading in high earthquake regions. Additionally, there were many experimental and analytical testing for many modern structural engineers developed precast concrete columns and wall. Several performance of precast concrete column and wall were advanced, which was that monolithic emulation precast system, hybrid precast system and pre-stressed only system. In this experimental test, unbonded post-tensioned tendons with precast concrete column would be conducted, that system leads due to the hypothesis of precast rocking wall system. The disadvantage of precast-rocking system is very small energy dissipation so that the precast column was intended to undergo lateral loading until the target story drift 6% and achieved elastic behavior when the column is unloading. The experimental result came out was exceptionally satisfactory. The test-precast column is achieved elastic behavior and good self-centering characteristics. The precast test specimen did not get failure until the target story drift and only some crack patterns was observed throughout the test. At last, the de-compression device was attached with precast column to analyze the behavior of hybridprecast system.
