AbstractIn the modern day of construction industry, the availability of a proper and an efficient construction management system has a significant bearing on the overall productivity and profitability of a construction project. Researchers have recognized several management components to be considered important in determining the overall efficiency of the construction process. Thus the processes of human resource, quality, logistics, time and risk management would be thoroughly investigated and discussed through the course of the research study. Through the research study the role of the project manager on the overall efficiency of the management process would be studied. Further the critical factors influencing the client satisfaction are recognized and analyzed in detail. The main objective of the research was to identify the most critical and influential elements of management components and to highlight the correlations among them. A comprehensive quantitative analysis using the SPSS software and a qualitative analysis incorporating the pilot study was carried out in order to achieve this objective. Using the acquired results from the study, solutions to increase the efficiency are proposed. Effective and feasible propositions for developing management strategies to practically optimize the efficiency of the construction process are recommended through the findings from the study.
