AbstractThe main objective of this project was to develop an optimal transshipment policy between two retailers using simulation techniques. This model analyses two retailers in a supply chain, where the inventory is supplied by a single manufacturer and demand of each retailer is assumed to follow a normal distribution. Also in this model both retailers utilizes (s,S) inventory policy.
