Abstract | Today, Supply chain coordination and collaboration has become an interesting topic in Supply Chain Management. Supply contracts are used as an effective tool for coordinating supply chains. In the existing literature, there is numerous research works related to coordinating contracts in supply chains. Nevertheless, many contracts alone are not able to coordinate in reality. Therefore, a useful solution for this problem is to combine original contracts. In this project, a composite revenue sharing and quantity flexibility contract in a two stage supply chain is analyzed. A simulation model of this composite contract is developed for analysis purpose. The ability of the proposed composite contract in terms of coordination and profit allocation is analyzed by comparing with the traditional wholesale-price contract as the base case. According to the results of this analysis, the composite revenue sharing-quantity flexibility contract was proven to be better than its original contracts in terms of coordination and profit allocation among the supply chain members of a two stage supply chain. |
