AbstractCNC’s are used for widely for machining purposes. There are also many ways of generating a G-Code for these purposes. Siemens NX, MeshCAM, BobCAD are some of these. The G-code can also be obtained using a mathematical model and coded from C++ or Matlab. This project was done to generate the G Code for a Big Roller model which is used in cam and followers. The G code for this project was obtained using 3 different softwares. They are Siemens NX, Microsoft Excel and Matlab. The obtained codes were simulated using Vericut software and then run on FlashCut software. The Machine used for milling was a Sherline 2010 mill with a external fourth axis mounted with flat end mills with centre cutting.
