AbstractDevelopment and control of rubber elastic actuator is a project which focuses on artificial muscles. Four air muscles are made for this project. This focuses on controlling the position of an arm using those muscles Air muscles can be used instead of motor in engineering. As an example it can used in joints in robots such as elbow joint, grippers etc. Arduino microcontroller is used to execute the whole system. Pressure given maximum is 2.5 bar to each muscle. Main advantages of using air muscles instead of motors are low cost and light weight.
