AbstractToday, there is a larger store of knowledge available on the strategic service management, not only in services marketing strategy but also in functions that necessarily interact with services marketing strategy such as strategic human resource management. Airline industry is also using these two tools to craft the market heavily. Royal Air Cambodge is the youngest airline company in the region as well as in Cambodia. Since the Royal Government of Cambodia has opened its airline market to the international air transportation to the world, especially to Asia Pacific Region, Royal Air Cambodge has played a critical role as the national flag carrier for carrying international and domestic passengers. However, if we evaluate the business performance of Royal Air Cambodge in comparing to others airlines companies operating in Cambodia market in term of market share or passenger loaded for international flights. Royal Air Cambodge would stay behind its competitors. Therefore, this research study is formulated to understand the weak points of Royal Air Cambodge in business performance by focusing the analysis of challenges and strategic service management. Based on the findings of the study, recommendations are made to respond the challenges and business performance of Royal Air Cambodge.
