| Abstract | Single element of the chain cannot complete the chain. All elements should be link together for a better output. Supply chain management is a management system that can use to improve the reduction of cost, waste and increase the quality of the final output. Subcontracted skilled labors supply chain management can influence to the construction company for a better future. Most of Sri Lankan construction companies are having a waste and time management problems as found in the pilot study. Since labor representing 35 to 65 percent of distribution expense for most companies, using supply chain management is the most accurate way. This research is aimed to find key elements of supply chain management and subcontracted skilled labors. From 30 sites of Sri Lankan construction companies it was found some key elements that can influence to subcontracted skilled labors supply chain management. Time cost and the quality are the main elements. Problems related to time cost and quality, have being found in the pilot study This study has implemented one module to improve subcontracted skilled labors supply chain management. |
