AbstractIn general, financial and risk evaluation is the heart of the project evaluation because it tests the viability of the project before making decision to finance. In addition, uncertainty and risk usually accompany many forms of project investment. Therefore, for the bank, financial and risk evaluation play important role as on the basis of this evaluation, projects are undertaken for financing. In the Cantho Agricultural Bank, the risk involvement of project financing is usually so high because the Bank lacks experience and appropriate techniques for evaluating a project. Based on the literature and Cantho Agricultural Bank's current situation, this research develops and proposes the framework of financial and risks evaluation of the project for the Bank. Then, it is applied at Cantho Agricultural Bank. Finally, analysis and findings are done to draw the conclusion and make the recommendations for the Bank to improve its current techniques.
