Abstract | This research is an attempt to analyze the possibility for an ecotourism destination development in Koh Mak by considering basic financial analysis of this project, which indicates in the first year, and consistency between the national to local development plans and this project. The other recommends are the strategy to operate this business, market segmentation and target market, who are the prospective customers. Moreover, this research identifies Koh Mak' s position in the tourism industry including illustrates the accommodation, attractions, and activities to facilitate and entertain tourists in Koh Mak. The recommends also identify the ecotourism criteria that are environmental concerning for resort owners and ecotourists, as well as the waste disposal and energy management. This study will benefit to investors and Koh Mak residents to increase income distribution to local communities, while the natural resources and environment are sustained through ecotourism business. |
