| Abstract | According to the need to modify the capabilities of the controller, users agree that simply getting process data off the machine would be a big step forward. Frequently, the essential information, such as tooling inventories, coolant level, machining time, and other status values are hidden from the operator. In addition, someone trained to operate a machine with one type of controller often either cannot operate a similar machine with a different controller or have to be retrained. In large shops with dozens of controller types, the inability of operators to move easily from one machine to another is a serious constraint upon efficiency and flexibility. The combination of industrial standard operating system, object oriented programming (OOP), application programming interface (API), software based digital control technologies running on a personal computer (PC), power electronics, and servomotor that conforming to standards seem to be the answers to those problems. In this study, the Human-Machine Interface (HMI) software is developed by using the above technologies in order to solve the problems that were previously discussed. |
