AbstractThe objective of this study is to investigate the external and internal factors of Vietnam's fisheries industry to identify an appropriate strategy for Baria-Vungtau Seaproduct Services Company. The study shows that the Baseaserco need to follow consolidating strategy by increasing capacity of seafood production, establishing material base as well as improving its quality products, for enhancement the market share in foreign markets. Regard to shipbuilding business, the company should focus on building and repairing fishing boat and serving in domestic market. Based on the analysis, some suggestions have been made to Baseaserco so that the company can growth and cope with future challenges.
