Abstract | The developments of the financial institution have made it possible to provide a lot of types of financial services to the companies. In Cambodia, the financial sector essentially consists of the banking sector. So, those banks play a very important role in providing financial services to the companies operating in Cambodia. This study analyses the gap between the need of financial products (loans) by corporate sector demand and the offer of financial products (loans) by banks. The study shows that there is a gap between the need of loans by corporate sector demand and the offer of loans by banks. The main reason why there is a gap is that the companies need long term loan for financing their investment but the banks do not provide the longterm loan to companies, they provide only short and medium term loans. Finally, the study concludes with a set of recommendations to fulfil the gap between the need of loans product by corporate sector demand and the offer of loans products by banks. |
