Abstract | The Information Age has come to pass, thanks to the proliferation of networked digital devices enmeshed together by the Internet. The convergence and integration of products and services, driven mainly by technology, asserts marketers to understand the emerging information society. To be able to participate in this emerging opportunity in the region, it becomes imperative to understand the current market scenario and future prospects. The foundations of evolving knowledge societies in this network economy depend on reliable Internet access to the citizens. The needs of corporate Internet users have also been changing with the advent of e-commerce and other fast eme.rging Internet applications. Thus, it is also important to analyze the services offered by the ISPs, the problems plaguing cheaper access and their future directions. |
