AbstractCNCs makings designs and prototyping is used widely for machining purpose. The G code for these purposes can be generated in variety of ways. Siemens NX, MeshCAM, BobCAD are some of these. Few among common methods is to obtain the CL coordinates and use inverse kinematics to change the CL points intot NC code using appropriate equations. This project was carried out to generate G code for a 4 axis impeller. The G code for this thesis was achieved using NX software. They can also use the softwares such as Microsoft excel and Matlab to further obatain these results. I used Vericut software to drive the simulation and then the codes were simulated using Flashcut software. The machine worked during the milling was a Sherline 2010 mill and an external fourth axis was mounted with flat end mills and ball nose tool.
