AbstractThis project is about a passive actuator that is used to improve the performance of a mechanical system. The objectives of the project are to design, develop and study the mechanical system with a support of passive mechanism. This project was developed based more on mechanical processes. Laws and theories of mechanical system were reviewed as literature. The conceptual designs were created and simulated on Solidwork 2013. A physical model was developed and total four different types of experiments were done on this project. After experiments, both expected and unexpected results were found. Observing the result, a discussion and recommendations for further improvement were developed.
