Abstract | Automation of a factory lead to high productivity as well as it helped to improve the quality of the products. To increase the precision, accuracy and to reduce the time waste in hazard areas robotic actuators have replaced the humans to success the above tasks. With the development of modern world, industries used vast kind of robots. SCARA is well known popular configuration in world industry. Building and controlling one of these robots is a big task and should require knowledge and skill in the fields of mechanical, electronics as well as robotics. This report presents the development and making of a SCARA robotic which can pick and place. This robotic arm has the function to pick and place objects based on its color and shape (Colors- Red/Green/Blue; Shapes- Cube/sphere). This project will include the design, assembly, Sensors, control of the SCARA robot arm mechanism and conveyor. The Arduino mega 2560 is used as a micro controller. |
