Abstract | The telecommunication sector is developing day by day with much kind of technologies in the world. Subscribers are also increasing day by day, they always looking for new technology. There are many customer as well as many service provider, they competitive each other for attract many customer. Cause of this competition quality of service is an important factor in telecommunication industry. When we consider quality of service, we have to consider blocking probability. Every service provider try to decrease blocking probability of their network. Queuing network is a system model under teletraffic engineering that share limited resources. Blocking probability of the queuing network is very important factor for today network. In creasing blocking probability is a bad impact for modern network and it effect badly for quality of service of the network. This blocking probability should be less than 2% for good high quality network (according to NCC recommended stranded). When we consider two type of queuing system (single server, multi-server), single server system has a high blocking probability. Cause we can decrease blocking probability by increasing server in the system. But problem is, highly effected blocking probability occurs in multi-server system too. In our project we analysed blocking probability of multi-server queuing network. Blocking probability are increasing with number of subscribers are increased; this is a main problem for telecommunication sector. There are many researches for analyse blocking probability. Blocking probability can find theoretically and also using simulation programme. In this project we used mixed traffic multi server system with different arrival rate. When distribution are mixed with together (Pareto, normal and Poisson distribution) there are no equation to find the blocking probability theoretically hence if we want to find the theoretical value of blocking probability we have to define mathematical model equation. Therefore in this report we analyse the blocking probability using a simulation programme (OMNET++ simulator). In this paper discuss four scenario to analyse blocking probability in the mixed traffic distribution. First scenario same arrival rate with three distribution and second one is Pareto and poison arrival rate are same but normal distribution arrival rate are different and third one is Pareto arrival rate are different but other two are same and also fourth one is Poisson distribution packets are different other two are same. Finally analyse the result using four graphs plotted using Mablab software. |
