AbstractThe World Wide Web and Internet technologies together provide excellent facility and opportunities to develop an environment for delivery of online education over the Internet. The purpose of this study is to develop an interactive Web-Based Teaching and Learning Model for Structured Query Language (SQL), which would facilitate the user to learn SQL more effectively and efficiently. A series of flash animation and explanatory material have been developed to illustrate SQL concepts and theory. The model developed for teaching and learning SQL are mixture of constructive teaching and learning model, Q&A teaching and learning model, Web-based learning model, interactive learning model, visualized learning techniques and object-oriented methodology. The entire tutorial is expressed by learning objects. These learning objects can be used, re-used or referenced during SQL programming learning.
