AbstractThe role of joint venture in direct investment project is a popular tool for managers to maintain the effectiveness and efficiency from the initial phase to the closure of project. Using joint venture shall bring lots of advantages of gaining more capacity and expertise, easier to enter the new geography markets, technology boosting, and sharing risks. In project management, specifically in construction project management has been developed deeply from ages ago to the present. How to create the more and more higher effectiveness in management is the vital issue of the manager. They used flexibly tools for management, joint venture is one of a tool for manage the project, especially for complicate project. In the period of coordinating to Korea – Viet Nam Incubator Park in the early beginning of the project. I found that the importance of a deeper research of joint venture. In this project, from the beginning to the operating, the cooperation of parties is necessary to keep in stable and understandable condition. This shall lead to an assuredness for project’s completion, hand-over and operation smoothly. On this research’s scope, I do both collecting all related data from project, managers, staffs and searching management publication about joint venture, study how joint venture in the construction stage, how joint venture in operation stage then I analyze the strengths, weaknesses and recommendations.
