Abstract | Safety is very important in Construction projects; it is considered one of the factors that lead to the success of a project. In developed Countries, the safety is always concerned and controlled closely but in developing countries, in order to reduce expenses, this work seems unconcerned in many projects. Our company-PV Engineering has set the safety management system and it has been implemented in the projects, but same as most companies in Vietnam in particular and in developing countries in general, we has found a lot of hurdles and difficulties in applying our Safety Management System (SMS) to International Oil & Gas projects. When carrying out these International Oil & Gas projects, our company - PV Engineering - has tried to meet and comply with safety requirements set out by the client. However, there are some requirements that we have made great efforts overcoming difficulties to comply with, but there are some requirements that we are unable to meet promptly. In order to solve these problems we are in a gradual process of improving our SMS |
