AbstractThe intra-organization service areas can be improved in quality and usability by applying intelligence. It results in significant time saving and improvement in how the organization exchanges information . Knowledge can be included in order to fulfill the absence of details in any c ircumstance. Nevertheless, there are not so many intelligent applications that have been developed for use within an organization and none of them clearly identifies other relevant issues. The belief of developing intelligent system is the application in some domain may need more than just sophisticated programming power. Thus, in this study, the development methodology has been proposed and the Intelligent Meeting Scheduler is developed to address its appropriate framework for developing system in distributed manner and to propose the way of employing knowledge within the application. The developed prototype system features almost all basic tasks in scheduling domain and to some extent has an ability to make decision by itself. In some circumstance, it may_ have encountered ambiguous conflicts and could not make decision on its own, the decision making power will be de li vered back to the user of the system. The study also identifies the way of considering knowledge needed in each particular step, knowledge placement and knowledge manipulation.
