AbstractAnalysis of demand generation, destination choice, and airport choice concerning with international air travelers is very important. These are the basic data for the construction of the new airport or maintenance of airports. Airport choice models have been extensively studied, however, the analysis of the demand generation and the destination choice should be more studied. This paper proposes the demand generation estimation model using modified diffusion model for the international air travelers in Japanese market, and the destination choice model using AHP for international pleasure travelers by air in Japanese market. Modification of the precious diffusion model and new approach for the analysis of the destination choice are examined.
