Abstract | This research studies on “The Relationship between Working Capital Management and Corporate Performance of Property and Construction Sector in Thailand". The data gathered from 2010-2015 financial statements of the top 50 enterprises that have highest authorized capital and have listed on SET before 1st January, 2010 in Property and Construction Sector. Moreover, independent variables consists of Average collection period, Inventory turnover in days, Average payment period, Cash conversion cycle and Net trading cycle while a dependent variant is Net operating profit. Hypotheses testing results present that there is relationship in negative between Average collection period, Inventory turnover in days, Average payment period, Cash conversion cycle and Net trading cycle with Net operating profit of Property and Construction Sector in Thailand at level low to very low at significant 0.01. The regression analysis indicates that Cash conversion cycle is the only one independent variant that could use for prediction net operating profit at Sig. value 0.012 less than the significance level at 0.05 while other variables are constant. Thereby, if ash conversion cycle changes 1 unit, net operating profit would change -0.7168 units. In contrast, other independent variants have no relationship with net operating profit whilst inventory turnover in days excludes in the regression equation because it has least relationship with net operating profit. Furthermore, Sig. value at constant is 0.000 less than the significance level at 0.05. It means that net operating profit would be 0.863, if every independent variable is zero. |
