Abstract | Budgeting is one of the everyday works in any organizations both the profit and the non-profit ones. Decision-making on this budgeting is a complicated process. The right budget allocation to each part of the organization will promote and support its program. University, as non profit organization, is making programs to achieve his vision and mission. University as an education institution is aimed to develop the program to increase the people's level of education. Decision maker in the university usually face on complex system of interrelated components such as resources, desired outcomes or objective, person or groups, etc. When decision makers make a decision, they must consider all factors that impact on the result of their decisions. Petra Christian University Surabaya (PCU) as a private university has been participating to increase the level of education. PCU tries to develop the programs that are supporting its contemporary goals. For running these programs, PCU was faced with limited fund that was come from tuition fee only. Because of this, the budget should reflect the university concern to the capability of its units to generate income. Analytical Hierarchy Process(AHP) and Goal Programming (GP) models are important analysis tools in the field of multicriteria decision making approach for budget allocation in PCU. They will provide a framework and methodology to determine the Budget Allocation in PCU. |
