| Abstract | The objective of this research is to present an overall view of the emerging issues and prospects of
the telecommunications industry in China.
The research focuses on the demand for and supply of telecoms services, issues relating to
technology and government action in China. A comparative analysis is carried out between China
and Asian NIEs, in order to make some recommendations to the authorities to diversify and increase
services, improving quality and efficiency at a faster pace.
The research study also discusses some management and organization considerations regarding
financing, investment, planning and implementation in the telecoms industly. It is hoped that the
results of this research will provide assistance to the future development of Telecoms industry in
China. |
