AbstractThe world economy is undergoing a fundamental change and the business environment has grown dramatically more intense as the result of the globalization. With the saturation in US and Europe, Asia is becoming increasingly important in the world economic order. To survive in the coming century, European firms must expand their international operations to Asia by using different entry modes. The research study was conducted to examine the experiences learnt by selected European companies in three different Asian countries, Thailand, Malaysia and Cambodia. After summarizing the major findings from the study and analyzing the factors influencing the entry decision in the three Asian countries, the recommendations to new entrant to these countries are provided.
