AbstractIn the 1990s, with the participation of MNCs, the competition in the Chinese computer industry has become more intense. The Legend Group, the largest PC producer and distributor in this industry, is facing fierce competition from both domestic and foreign manufacturers. To obtain a sustainable competitive advantage, strategy formulation is essential. In this study, SWOT analysis has been used as a tool to formulate strategies for the Legend Group, This was performed by three matrix models: Internal Factor Evaluation Matrix, External Factor Evaluation Matrix and TOWS Matrix. The strategy formulation of the Legend Group focuses on where to compete, whom to compete with and how to compete.
