AbstractEnvironmental problems are not an individual responsibility from specific authority. Everyone has to protect and maintain our existing environment together with development. Therefore, in construction management concerning, the study proposes a systematically supporting model for environmental impact assessment (EIA) in view point of activities-based model for construction activities. In order to ease for follow up and better decision makings in aspects of environmentally-sound construction methods. The proposed model originated by utilizing the concept of hierarchical model of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). The framework of this model comprises of three main processes which are impacts identification, mitigation measures, and establishing of the decision chart for selecting appropriate specific construction methods. Piling activity is the designated case for this study. The achievement of the study are conclusion table of environmental impacts identification, conclusion table of mitigation measures, and significant factors as decision chart for selecting piling methods. The more utilize this model to other construction activities, certainly, the many possible and significant impacts will be considered for achieving of well monitoring and controlling in environmentally-sound construction activities.
