AbstractThe Quality Improvement implementation in a manufacturing company is a long-term plan. For a success "Half-hea1ted" effo1t and the superficial co111111itment to the improvement process that is not able to achieve its target must be discouraged the Upper Management. In addition, has to be seen to be committed to Quality Improvement, can be achieved by personal involvement and accountability above with perform for the continuous improvement with measurable level of performance by of all concerned. It concerns every department of function and process of the business and an active conm1itment of all employees towards meeting customer requirements - customers for each employee are separately and individually identified. Management also needs to ensure that appropriate structures are installed to manage the improvement process and provide the necessary resources for the improvement to take place. In this study I will investigate into the quality problems of Semiconductor Venture International (Public) Co., Ltd., SVI - the Electronics Assembly Company. The SVI Company has plans to achieve Total Quality Management (TQM) based on the ISO 9000 Quality System. The study will be concerned with the Operational Section that involves the Quality Assurance Depa1tment, the Engineering Depa1tment, the Material Department, and the Manufacturing Dera1tment. All of the Departments are main contributions to customer satisfaction. This study is to establish the Quality Improvement Program, which is a part ofTQM, in the company. The findings of this study can achieve the quality improvement program by setting up the new activity tasks that are needed for improving the quality in the manufacturing process. The cause and effect diagram is the main quality tool to achieve quality improvement goal. The training program is the last step of study to implement in manufacturing process for achieving quality improvement in organization.
