| Abstract | This thesis Present the studies about the existing load consumption in power distribution
networks and the plan of extension electricity supply among different cities in Saravan province
of LAO P.D.R.
The emphasis of this study has been to analyse and compute the electric energy loss,
optimum location for the in-feed point installation of capacitor bank in order to improve the
characteristic of voltage profile and reduce the electric energy losses, particularly in the
primary feeder ( 22 kV ) as overall networks and computed its economic evaluation. This thesis
also has been compared the electric energy losses among the after installation capacitor bank
and extension new feed point by many alternate ways.
This reports presents the results of the studies carried out using computer software
PSSU, from power Technology incorporation (PTI), and also the computer program developed
by Dr. Thukaram, visiting faculty at AIT, Bangkok. |
