AbstractThis study present the application of an analysis technique that is adapted from methodology of Minato (1994) to the project price estimate. The scale of unce1tainties in each work-package is presented by a factor of Gamma (y). It they show the impact of the project price on each work-package price. For the results of this study, they discover the pricing characteristics of either contractors or project owner. The unrealistic pricing of individual work-packages can be identified and then the suitable decisions of both parties can be made. In construction business, the contractors have to bid competitively for most of their work and at the same time deal with risks and uncertainties connected with bid submission. This study illustrated the application of a mathematical analysis model to examine the unrealistic workpackages in tender pricing. From this study, the contractors will know their characteristics in work-package pricing. The overestimate price work-packages are the weakness of the contractors to win the bids. The main purpose of this study provides work- packages that are usually overestimated by the contractors. Considerably, the contractors can increase their chances of win in competitive bidding when their overestimate prices can be reduced. In the contrary, the owner may hard negotiate with the contractors for price discounts in those work packages.
