AbstractThis paper presents and compares tbe transport services system between Kawtaung and Ra- nong that regions were conducted in field trial section located at the border line of Thailand and Myanmar. The profitable of big cites, as a form of spatial organization (points, lines, areas, volumes) of human activity, and the benefit of people life in these two regions, all are fully depend on the development of transport systems. Typically based on during weekdays, weekends and every days that how many people across to other sides and what kinds of trans- portation services are mostly available to move on final destination when they arrived to the checkpoints. Transport systems can strengthen the local people economy and finances, pro- vide the productivity of human resources and supply the transportation of goods and support the ability for people and freights move from one place to another. Kawtaung and Ranong are generally considered to be off the main tourist trail for most travelers and also the coastal border line for both cites and transportation charges are comfort for people, goods and other factors making it a fascinating place to visit. The transportation network, infrastructure de- velopment, urban population density of two cities and gross domestic product are increasing in both Ranong and Kawtaung. According to the obviously development of transport sys- tems, people are more used the coastal vessels to across the river from one place to another. In coming few years there will be some problem in transport systems because of increasing populations and freights, people used more cheap expenses services which are faster ways to reach the other side. According to the raising demand that is needed to collect the current saturation of population and how many times the ships or boats are serving to across the river per day and which piers are most common use for local people to across the other side. There are two main characters in travel demand forecasting today, one is the majority of the traditionally transportation four step- model travel demand FSM that is commonly used by the transportation agencies and the other is activity-based model which stimulates individual and household activities at much more detail levels . In this travel demand comparison, four step models method are used for surveying the people from Kawtaung and Ranong. Finally the result of expected trip values are suitable for the travel demand need in the necessary of Kawtaung and Ranong regions.
